I will be making the butternut squash and brown rice casserole and then the soup!! Yum!!
no like you saw the RAW PIECES OF RICE :') jesus christ
Iβm from the UK and I eat the butternut squash skin, just out of convenience. If youβre roasting/blending the squash to make sauce or a soup, the skin will just disappear π
Thanks for the lovely recipes! π
these are super creative, thank u!!!
Lately I have been cutting it into quarters and boiling it with the skin on. When it's tender, I drain it and let it cool and then peel it before dicing or mashing. Love your channel.
Would acorn squash work in any of these recipes? My grocery store was running a sale, so I bought some, and then remembered I've never had it before! haha
Eating some of that chili right now. I topped it with some vegan yogurt and I am in cozy heaven!
I would love to make the shells but I lack the patience! I think the chili is the one I'd most like to make π
I love your recipes, Caitlin! You have become my number one go-to spot for all my favorite recipes! I tried the dump-and-bake casserole, the salad, AND the soup and they were ALL DELICIOUS!!! Thank you so much for your amazing content! ππ
I'm going to make the butternut squash and brown rice casserole first and the soup 2nd. I don't peel the squash and I'm in Florida.
Slayyy
Iβve never known how to cook butternut squash
Making the chili tonight!!
I never thought to use apple in my butternut squash soup before, but now I will have to try it! My family is a little squeamish around squash with an often complaint being that they are on the sweet side, or that they are bothered by the texture. The only squash that I've gotten them to admit they like so far is spaghetti squash. If anyone has recommendations for tempting the squash-averse folks with something we may not have tried, please leave a reply!
Hmmmm might have to do those shells for thanksgiving!
Those stuffed shells are β€βπ₯β€βπ₯. What brand of nail polish?? I'm obsessed with that color!
My boyfriend is always asking me to make him butternut squash but Iβve been too intimidated by the vegetable and donβt know how to make it. But these look so easy and yummy! Iβm going to make the stuffed shells this week!
All of them look amazing – but Iβd make the salad first! π€ xo
Love this video, such clever and delicious ways to use butternut squash! Ant wait to try! Iβd love a mint themed video or warm drink ideas!
Wonderful wonderful and wonderful β€β€β€ super delicious and super yummy β€β€β€ great job β€β€β€ have a wonderful day β€β€β€
I'm from London UK and don't peel squash, carrots or potatoes ever, but always peel pumpkin!
The butternut pasta dish looked great. I might make that today. I don't peel, I just roast then scoop out butternut.
These recipes all look amazing! I don't peel butternut and acorn squash! π
They new tiny variety called honeynut squash has extremely soft edible skin, but I've never tried butternut skin. Thanks for these recipes, I think I'll try them with the honeynuts I have! I highly recommend trying them if you can get your hands on some. π
These make me so hungry!!!!
I used to prefer Butternut squash before i started eating Hokkaido ππΌ
My dad grows diferent varieties of pumpkins, all organic
they all look delicious
What about some things with celeriac??
I usually leave the skin on because it adds texture and prevents food waste. If Iβm making a creamy soup, Iβll peel it and compost the peels. This goes for almost all squash varieties. Last week I made a vegan sausage and pumpkin soup and left the skin on the pumpkin and it was perfectly fine.
I don't peel any pumpkin or squash π
I'm in Australia and I never peel butternut pumpkin. Too much effort and it tastes just fine!
I don't eat the skin. But I don't peel it I cook it, and scrape it out. It's easier. I've eaten the skin before, I don't really like it when its steamed or boiled which is how i normally cook things i dont use the oven much. , I do like the skin on some other squashes like kabocha, kuri, summer squashes, delecata.
Awesome π
The soup with the tart apple sounds intriguing. When I get over my Covid quarantine, I'd like to try that recipe.
Great video! Would love some more reading suggestions. Loved the sagas by Ms Maas π
Everything looks so yummy! I never peel squash, mostly because I'm lazy haha. I find that it's soft and easy to eat once cooked
The chili looks like it would hit the spot on a chilly day π
8:30 Omg the smileyπ₯Ήπ₯Ήπ€
More yummy π recipes from the awesome Catlin and I will definitely be trying the chili and the soup making them in my instant pot. The casserole I would cook in the airfryer rather than the oven. Love π₯° the video and love π Catlin.

I loved all the recipes, but I'll definitely be making the stuffed pasta shells first! π where I live it's usually hot in November, but we've been having some cooler days this year; so these recipes are perfect!
