Hi Wil, this is easily the best recipe and the most popular soup in our home. We love the fact that it couples very well with jasmine rice too. We also liked it with addition of some lemon zest – added a nice kick to the soup in case the potatoes are too sweet.
I'd grind the garlic with salt to a paste to get the flavour but not the chunks it dissolves into the soup no chunks just flavour ๐

I have just made this and its GORGEOUS! Its perfectly seasoned too. I don't have a high powered blender so just used a stick blender so it had some bits in but that didn't detract from the deliciousness! I like your presentation style. To the point and no waffling – thank you ๐ <3

Superb. Beautifully seasoned. Had some kale leftovers so I got some spinach to make it with. Unfortunately I didn't have the garlic. Still tastes delicious. Good tip was seasoning every time you added ingredients. Thank you!

this is an awesome recipe. Now I can easily incorporate spinach and kale into my diet. I did blanche the kale to make it less bitter and I had to replace the onion and garlic with celery and ginger because I am sensitive to them. I threw in carrots and zucchini as well and it blended really nicely. I also put chunks of butternut squash, but I haven't tried blending it in. Thank you for such a versatile recipe.
