Let me address a few things since my name was mentioned:
Steroids? Nope. But if u believe I'm roids, I'm honoured. Anyone can look at my pics can scroll down and see my slow ass progress. I maybe have TWO good pics that shows my muscles off an they were after a hard workout w epic lighting.
Not raw food in Thailand? Yep. Pastureized juice. Sometimes I'd get them to add sugar to my smoothies also. And I would sometimes have some non raw coconut meat since they boil the coconuts and it makes the water much sweeter. Same ones we all in the west and at the Woodstock fruit fest. That's it.
3-4 naps per day? Lmao no. How is that even possible? I did nap once everyday for 45 min tho, and once again at night for 8 hours.
Melon belly? YES! I did get melon belly and yes Danny did save me a his chromium supplement, thank you Danny! That was hilarious how well it worked. Huge life hack. I actually got the melon belly from MANGOES. Prob got it from watermelon too but the mangoes were deadly.
I had a lot of fun training w Danny and I will forever remember those days as some of the best in my life.
Sorry to hear Danny was also accused of being on roids but hey man take it as a compliment.
And Joey I loved being on ur pod bro, thanks again for the invite.
You should have Dr. Doug Graham on next. He said he's down.
After learning about regenerative agriculture a few years ago, I realized that supporting those ranchers raising their animals this way was far better for the planet than eating nothing but vegetables. I lost 50 pounds on a keto diet and have been switching to carnivore for a few months. I love that I'm helping heal the earth as well as heal myself. No one thinks I'm as old as I am, so I must be doing something right. 🧓Anyway, I already have a religion, and it leaves what I eat up to me. 😋
He has not mentioned oxalates —- he would have been highly oxalate toxic so this is why he says some people find Carnivore difficult … and better on Keto … once you understand oxalates then you can transition with ease over a number of years.
Danny is one of the OG's in the Youtube nutrition space of people looking for the truth. But let me tell you Keto Carnivore is not our natural diet. The most optimal human diet is meat and fruit. I been through the whole diet rabbit hole. Went in and came out. Meat and fruit is the perfect diet ladies and gentlemen. Paul Saladino got it right.
interesting – the 80/10/10 vegan diet gave him a lot of benefits straight away – and now the carni diet is giving him benefits straight away… anyone see a pattern?
I can totally relate to sleeping for long periods of time. I did vegan/fruitarian and would sleep for over 20 hours. The first meal I had to transition was a plate of eggs. Man! It was like I was raised from the dead.
When I stopped being vegan the first thing I decided to eat was a beef sirloin steak, I didn't get the euphoric feeling that many talk about but was actually feeling like I might threw up because I think it was too much nutrition for my body to handle at the time. I had to build myself back up to eating such nutritionally dense foods so I started with a few eggs, smaller portions of chicken, bacon before eating the amount of beef and lamb I do now.
Wow I was vegan for 7 years and my story is so similar to Danny's! The first egg I had, I could feel it absorbing into my brain and I felt satiated and grounded for the first time in many many years! As a vegan I was constantly hungry and never satiated. Now I'm eating meat again, just to be able to have a meal and not think about food for 3 to 5 hours is the most liberating feeling on this planet. I was so anxious in the end days of veganism I didn't feel there was any point in me continuing on living. Now I feel I have purpose to live again!
Thank you Joey for another informative interview with another fantastic guest. Danny is awesome. I think it’s so important to hear from the ex-vegans and ex-vegetarians who are recovering their health on an animal-based diet. (I’m one of them, and working to help my sisters and my significant other to improve their diets and their health. Well done! 👏
I had a yucky feeling about Durian Rider within 30 seconds of your interview with him. He smacks of pathological narcissism right off the bat. It would be so awesome if your channel plays a role in his downfall and the end of his spewing of mentally ill garbage. 😂
Good stuff Danny. Here's another plow for the vegan churchyard. For the green issue. The sheer amount of use of machinery and gas to prep, plant, pest control, fertilize, cultivate, pick, harvest, and move it off the field is staggering. Animals self-feed, self-breed, self move. Game over!
Good to hear another one coming out of the garden. The thing with trends is that after the trend-setters start, the carpetbaggers show up to cash in. The difference is between motives. Developing our discernment is the key. Trend-setters are trying to help. Even late-comers to the space, like Danny and Joey here, are truly operating from their hearts. It's something you can instantly sense. Carpetbaggers are only looking for an opportunity. A wave to ride for a while. Truth be dammed in the name of likes, subscriptions, affiliate links, and merch. That's not to say that a carpetbagger can't change, and grow it into something real.
So hang on, from one end of the spectrum to the complete opposite, vegan to carnivore, and the reasoning being guesses based loosely on recent individual experiences. No consideration for everything in between vegan and carnivore. Lessons learnt = zero, right? SMH.
I'd say most people have a story to tell about our morbid diets and how they've destroyed us, too bad…. I really laugh watching Joey with durianrider. He really must tickle your funny bone! The guy does seem to have that way about him. You can see why he attracts so many people, right?
I just researched him. No shock. The reason he's famous is because he does every extreme thing he comes across: drinking bleach, drinking urine, extreme fasting.
So this guy is a "piss-poor" study of one to try making veganism look bad. But it's typical from the anti-vegans.
Seems to me that veganism is just another cult! Veganism is part of the promoted agenda for population reduction, it will make people ill eventually through malnutrition. Let those that be deceived be deceived. What will be will be. Survival of the smartest.
I have to say that I struggle to get whole raw milk, raw cheese, pasture raised eggs in GB, I can get hold of pasture raised meat via mail order no prob.
The way this guy describes eating eggs after being vegan is the way I felt eating liver recently. I've never been a veggivore or anything but I recently started carnivore and decided to try to get organ meat in my diet. Not even a minute after eating liver my brain fog completely disappeared and the next two days I felt amazing. Kinda mad at how hard it is to find. Surprisingly walmart sells it. It doesn't taste great in my opinion but the benefits are outstanding
Never heard of him. I've been in the VYC (Vegan Youtube Community) for 13 years. I only hear that kind of 'storytime' from trolls. "INSTANTLY". LOL. what a joke. There's no magic substances in a chicken's toxic period. Me and Durianrider are the most alive, happy Youtubers in the diet Community.
Thank you for having Danny on. He is such a good fellow. I am glad to see that he is doing well on a proper human diet. He really put himself through the ringer learning first hand about all of the ways that the vegan cult will tear you down and crap all over you.
Interesting chat. I can believe many points. What I do feel is a lot of people who gravitate towards diets have emotional/mental health issues beforehand. Much like the chap here said about himself. It is these issues that result in chronic stress that impact energy, metabolism and so on. That's why, so often, a "new" diet, like vegan or carnivore, keto etc work really well in the beginning because they're a powerful placebo. But placebo's don't last forever and naturally the old lethargic ways etc come back. Nothing wrong with a high carb diet, plenty people live very healthy for their whole lives, there's also nothing wrong (from a health perspective) with a moderate meat diet if it works. I think this stuff comes down to the individual and more importantly the emotional and mental health factors of the individual. For example stress/repressed emotions are the primary reason for poor stomach/digestive health. While in the fight or flight response, there is less of an ability to break down fibre and that fibre quickly causes gas, bloating and microbe imbalance. The entire GI system just becomes sluggish when under stress. When people go carnivore they don't fix their digestion, they just eliminate fibres that they're body has lost the ability to digest as a result of chronic stress. Most diets start out as obsessive distractions to help deter attention away from emotional problems. No different from compulsive shopping, binge eating, porn/sex, sport etc. If the diet works well then the person maintains it and evenly finds a new distraction. Often the original problems come back once the powerful placebo wears off.
The problem with veganism is that it is not just a diet but a philosophy and a lifestyle that if the diet is not optimal for your health, you get trapped psychologically and in the end you have to eat meat to recover your health, but this generates feelings of guilt and failure since you cannot save the world.
I totally get what Danny is saying about meat/animal foods and grounding. I was a vegetarian/then vegan for 20 years and had a similar experience with my first meat meal recommended by an Ayurvedic doctor about 20 years ago now. Saved my life and led to a total transformation over the next 6 month period. These videos are very helpful and important for our survival. Thank you!
Animals are given to us by God for our f benefit of our bodies because God loves what He created and wants you to prosper….respect the animals treat them with respect for they give their life to your life……
Your high insulin from allllll that fruit was working extremely well and kept you really hungry it's amazing to me that a frutarian despite the amount of calories can be so skinny……….definitely not a true example of calories in calories out theory HUH….also omega 3s DHA is much needed by the human body and vegans really are lacking in THAT

Also wish everyone, vegan and carnivore could find better middle ground and make more space for things other than obsessing about diets.
I’m wondering why he was stimulated on raw cacao which is 99% caffeine free. Heating raw cacao turns it into cocoa and activates caffeine.

Great interview
This dude will eat any diet for the clicks.
A healthy vegan is a closet meat eater

So instead of, at the very least, going vegetarian he went full carnist retard?
Great guest!

Dan is another Vegetable Police. He is an enthusiast for self experimentation. He will flip again.

Hahaha, I can think of many great reasons to live in Thailand, but the fruit is not one of them 😛

Diet, all diets in Europe and America gots supplement, in the food thst animale eats and we do!?
Dan is an all around good guy! I liked him when he was vegan and always thought he deserved better! Glad to see him thriving!
If you was Vegan, do you still care about humans that kills Animales in the industry!?
Too bad 'turpentine' wasn't part of this conversation. I would have liked to see his point of view from a carnivore perspective.
Poor guy. What a story

Do you think genetics play a role in what is optimal for each person?
Dude interview someone who doesn’t have severe mental health issues that lead them forward a diet for once lol

this was great. im an ex vegan that went through a lot of what he talked about. carnivore for 2 years now never going back.

More and more Vegans are reverting back to animal eating… as kids we were right!!.. Veggies were bad…
