I just made 2 little jars of this and i'm back to say THANK YOU!!! it's so tasty and light it turned out better than i expected the first one accidentally was more liquid-y cause i forgot to add oil gradually 🤦🏻♀️ but still edible lol can i make more ahead and keep it in the freezer? also is it really bad if i use another plant based milk?? soy milk isn't always available where i live 😢
wow i noticed that you didn't use any vinegar, like almost every single vegan mayo has? Is it because you use soymilk instead (so it curdles naturally??) Or does the lemon juice work the same way as vinegar?
Soy has lecithin which acts as an emulsifier much like the egg yolk would. If you’d like to use another milk based you’ll need to add an emulsifier. Xantham gum etc.
I ran out of lemons, I used lemon balsamic vinegar 2 TBS (I had to add another cup of soy milk because I read TBS instead of TSP lol), my grape seed oil was expired and had a funny aftertaste, so I used 1 cup of avocado oil and olive oil until I got the consistency I wanted, added celtic salt and it turned out perfectly – thanks Gaz !!
Thanks so much!! In the first rescipe I replaced soy mill for chilled coconut milk and replaced Gravesend oil with coconut oil. Then I used a hand mixed and whipped it instead of blending and it worked perfectly. Thanks for the recipe. Then I added pepper, salt, and onion powder and it tasted amazing
My Mayo is very runny ☹️

I've heard of sunflower seed lecithin – would sunflower milk have a higher lecithin content and would that not work for veganaise?
Sooooo…..I have an intolerance to lactose and an allergy to soy…any suggestions?
How long we can store these for out of fridge ?
I made it and it came delicious. I will mix it with different topping to create wonderful dressings. Thank you for sharing
It didn't work for me. Maybe because I used cold milk??
how long does this last in the fridge?!

Well that didn’t work i ended up with. Oily milk what have I done wrong
So I made the original one just now. It’s slightly bitter though how to I adjust that
Amazing, Gaz. I am tired of trying to find vegan mayo at the store.
Just made this for the first time. Mine had a more butter flavor. Did I mix it too long? Consistency is still like mayo.
