hi, you might not see this because it is a few months since you posted. I have just found you because I want to change my way of eating again as I am 66 years old, and am very low income, have OA and putting on weight. I am the heaviest i have ever been. I have done keto and carnivore and felt wonderful and my weight stabilized. When I did carnivore for a few weeks, I loved it and made financial sacrifices to do it BUT my bad cholesterol went up a lot. so i stopped and went keto and my cholesterol dropped to a "healthy" state according to my doctor. I want to do carnivore again but am worried about my cholesterol. Maybe it is my body chemistry ..can you comment on cholesterol and carnivore diet, thank you
I find that most people do the carnivore diet only for a period. And when the weight is off, or the health issues have improved, they start incorporation other foods again. Only a very small minority would have to stay on the diet for life.
There is a Bible verse that says something like "blessed is the man that does not condemn himself in that which he allows. " this is kind is my mindset on how i eat. I'm 65 and too old to be overly rigid in what i eat or don't eat. I have made MANY changes, I walk away from most of the junk that used to make up most of my diet. But while ib try to eat carnivore most of the time i refuseb to not eat something non carnivore once in awhile. I ate chicken for months, felt like i could never have more, ate high end filets a couple times a day for months. Thought i could do that forever but no i got really burnt out on them, same with hamburger, shrimp, etc. Now i mix it up but when i decide on having fries, bbq sauce and the bun with a BBQ beef sandwich in going to. In still lightyears from where i started. But i feel like I'm preaching to the choir 😁
Didn't realize I had been eating ketocarnivore for the last 8 yrs. Started keto ( 1916) way of eating because I'm a diabetic and have a number of autoimmune type diseases. Keto helped me lose 80 lbs and maintained it for 6 yrs. Have been looking into carnivore to restart. With life being in the pits for obvious reasons have lost my focus and wanted to get back to it and keep going. Thank you for saying what I have been thinking also! I like veggies. 🙂 and it's actually been harder for me to go without them, then to just eat meats.
There's obviously way more benefits with carnivore diet. One doing it for over 13yrs (check out Kelly hogan in utube) Keto is good too you lose weight but most doesn't like the way they look gauntly etc. Lots of doctors favor more on carnivore…. 🤔 Frankly judge I'm for carnivore myself. Easier and better practically on all levels 👍
Honestly, I have eaten small amounts of veggies (olives, avocado, berries, hummus, macadamia nuts, leafy greens, brussell sprouts, onions, carrots, herbs, garlic, tahini, mustard/mayo/ranch, sauerkraut) on carnivore since day one. Very small amounts and really just for some variety….and I still consider myself "carnivore'. For me, it isn't a religion, it's just a diet 🙂
SO MANY health improvements in just a couple months, I can't imagine I'll ever go back to a 50/50 meat/veg way of eating, which is what I used to do. Kale & spinach gave me iron absorption issues. Bell peppers & other veggies gave me terrible indigestion. Eating fruit too often put me in a spiral of hunger and cravings. But if I'm at a restaurant and the meat comes with broccoli on the side, I'm eating that broccoli. I put carrots & onions in my pot roasts and the roasted carrots are like candy!!
Very good video. I do hope most people will land where you have because I think it's mentally and physically ideal 🙂
The most wild animals eat raw meat and get what they can, when they can like vegetables and fruit. I think about the caveman in the beginning of time and what they may have eaten. I'm sure they ate meat most of the time and supplemented with fruit and veggies and even grain if it was available back then.
I rather do the Unani diet which is an ancient form. Mainly carnivore, some greens allowed and even fruit like berries as long as you keep under 30 to 50 grams of carbs. This is how our ancestors ate. Also the main part is to raise first the conductivity of the body and also raise the ph of urine in the morning to 7.2 to 7.5. One the conductivity level rises and ph your body starts releasing trapped water within cells that are toxic. This is the main cause of inflamatiom and diseases. The reason people get this rapped water is drinking water with no minerals especially sodium/chloride. Your body has to scramble change distilles water into saline solution. If there is no reserves of minerals it will trap it within the cells and cause intracellular edema. With this diet you start by adding 6 grams of sea salt to one liter of water with lemon. That is just prevent the body from further dehydration. This is the same ratio they use in saline solution to hydrate patients. In order to get the intracellular edema you have to increase the salt 1/2 gram a week. The first thing you notice once you start increasing is you loose a ton of water weight. This is coming from edema of the red blood cells and lymph as you increase and also close the windows of intermittent fasting you will then loose the fat soluble toxins in tissues. Your diet starts at 8 hour window then after a few months when the water weight is lost you go to 6 weeks then four. Its very gradual. The salt per liter can go up to 15 grams per liter. Once ther your body is fully conductive. You can check urine with a conductivity meter. If is around 35 milliseimens your gold. You raise your ph by increasing oxygen via exercise, drinking a teaspoon of baking soda with ach at night before bed and morning away from food 2 hours. Once the conductivity and ph high and you have released all intracelluar and toxic edema you bodt will be extremely efficient. You can basically eat 500 calories a dat and mantain weight and even fain muscle. Our ancestors did not eat all day. In facr they were mostly fasted througout the day until they made a catch. They probably ate some berries and shrubs as they hunted but not counted on those because they werent always in season.
So it got very boring and you really didn’t need to make such a big sacrifice. That makes sense. You also said it’s great to use as a temporary reset. Good video, best of luck😊
I’m just using carnivore to help heal my gut disbiosis. Now I’m adding in a bit of fermented foods/drinks on a part time basis. A little kimchi/sourkraut, kefir, sour cream, kombucha. Healing my gut and associated ailments is my main focus. Still eat mostly carnivore but making allowances for church potlucks and some social things. I’m mostly avoiding carbs 98% keto-ish. Basically carnivore with strategic additions.
Still avoiding bread, rice, potatoes, fruit, most veggies. I expect as my gut heals the variety will continue to expand and contract organically.
Even Rogan said that he has reintroduced some fruits into his carnivore diet. Mikhaela Peterson said that she includes honey and some liquors occasionally.
I'm doing a sort of ketovore thing. Lol. For me, I have to have variety. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't be so restricted. I was just setting myself up for failure. So rather than dragging myself down, I eat tacos. On Friday nights with my grandkids sometimes, not always, just sometimes I have something that isn't ketovore. I have found that I don't really like junk food anymore. I think everyone is different, just do what is best for you.
It's a difficult diet to stick to, but it's my only option as I am allergic to an enzyme in chlorophyll. I FINALLY feel like I have permission to eat what makes me feel well though.
This is wonderful. Glad you figured out the balance. Sometimes for lack of a better term “normal food” is an experience not to be missed. Especially if it’s made from scratch and doesn’t have a bunch of preservatives.
BS! I haven’t eaten any vegetables whatsoever and only meat, salt and water. The cravings I had at the start is your bodies addiction to certain foods. Fight through and you will reap the rewards. Don’t be weak willed. Plants are toxic to the human body and are full of carcinogens. Broccoli has over 100 carcinogens. Look it up yourself.
I'm eating more of a ketovore diet. Some days just meat the whole day, other days I add fruit and or veggies. I basically listen to my body. And definitely not eat carbs or sweets😁
Quitter. Lol, nah if you used carnivore just to lose weight, you can go Keto for sustain. No problem with that. But if your dying and suffering with disorders that carnivore can cure, then ya you have to stay carnivore
Nothing wrong with it babe. Carnivores eat plants too ❤ you are hyper carnivore if anything! And most of all you are you ❤❤ do what is best. I’m still healing so hypercarnivore is the route I’m going. ❤
Maybe you should consider quitting youtube as well? You may think you’re helping people now and realize later that you were harming them.
How would you feel if you were partially responsible for people getting sick or even dying because they took your advice. What do you really know besides your own anecdotal experience?
This video shows an immaturity level that I never knew you had. You can do whatever TF you want as you are in charge of your own life. You’re a grown woman.

Fiber is one of the most Important things in the human diet. You are clueless.
There is science to support carnivore. The average plant contains approximately 100 carcinogens. Brussels sprouts have 136! One carcinogen is too many

Life wouldn't have being guaranteed if not for #DROKOUROMI when I came across his YouTube channel and used his herbal supplements to beat TMAU….😊😊
I wish she'll get to the point

I wonder how many YouTubers are just making carnivore diet videos just for the views and not even following the diet themselves.

I've noticed women tend to struggle with carnivore 😢
High fat is hard to bring yourself to do

That was so very interesting. I am on the fence about experimenting with carnivore, so this was very helpful. Many thanks for sharing!

You’ll feel good until you don’t.
The carnivore diet can’t be sustained for a large population because there wouldn’t be enough meat to go around.
Not to mention the karmic implications.
If you are someones devil, there will be a devil for you.
