And I didn't go vegan after watching that commercial. I was 7. I went vegan at 40. That was simply the first time I thought about how meat was marketed to us. I also found out Santa wasn't real that same year so I started to distrust everything lol.
I get that some companies are extremely cruel to animals and have animals killed in brutal and awful ways, there is also companies that don’t. Killing animals isn’t a bad thing always, if we didn’t kill any animals they would overpopulate and believe it or not be wayyy worse for the earth. I get being vegan or vegetarian and appreciate that some doing it is good but those who force it down your throat need to wake up to reality.
i think eating meat isnt bad, becuase its just nature and humans are omnivore. but but but but but but but the modern meat industry is just disgusting and if animals would be treated with respect before killing, i wouldnt feel bad eating meat
See I respect people that are vegan/vegetarian. There's nothing wrong at all with not wanting to eat meat or things that come from animals. I'm not a fan of how some animals are treated in farms though heres how I do things. Now with me saying thus I'm not hating on anyone I'm just giving my thoughts. I buy from a local small town meat market that gets all their meat from local farms that have grass feed and free range animals that is even cheaper than store bought stuff, like $10 a pound for high quality ribeye steaks is great. Anytime I want fish I either go fishing and will try and keep fish for the winter. I never really think I'm bad for eating these animals because they don't wanna be eaten, does a bear thing that before it eats fish or takes down a deer.
Raised in the Midwest we learned this fact very early and being a biology nut I have this fact hammered into my skull Still not vegan for a variety of reasons though the factory farming industries so make me sick to my stomach ethically Eating animals by itself isn’t morally wrong imho though as nothing WANTS to be eaten. this goes for plants too but that’s less off putting due to being completely different in terms of how they react to said stimulus (look up what the smell of freshly mowed grass is) I respect you and your choice though as someone also disgusted by the industries that put profit over all else Though I’d eat human meat if I could sooooo🤷🏻♀️
I believe if you can kill an animal, or see it get killed. And still want to eat the meat you can, if you dont have the stomach for looking or killing you shouldn't eat meat.
Abstaining from meat is understandable. I see no reason at all to quit dairy products. They're made from milk, which cows give out of love for their calves.
My nephew from a very early age, like 3 or 4, refused to eat anything, as he would say, that had a face. Not sure where he got that from, could have been a Charlie Tuna thing. To this day, he's 35, and still a vegan.
people always comment “why call it __ if it’s not ____” ffs I feel like people just love to play dumb it is obviously because it’s supposed to resemble whatever meat the recipe is going for… people say vegans are the rude ones but I see more meat eaters pressed about fake meat stuff having the name of the meat in it. Going out of there way when you should literally know the answer by now. N I’m not even vegan it’s just something I always see and it is annoying
so you eat food that tastes like meat because you want that flavor. Do plants want to be eaten? What about all the little animals that die in the process of picking plants?
Of course nothing wants to be eaten but that's the way of life. I personally could never go straight veggies, we were meant to eat meat. But you do you, no disrespect intended
you are eating live plants, the plants also don't want to be eaten like animals, they can feel pain just like everyone else. you are still eating living things, you cant eat nonliving objects because you can only get nutrients from them.

Doesn’t really matter if they want to be eaten

Bro that Tuna is making me hungry
Sorry Charlie ✊😠
I love animal meat and eating food that comes from living animals
Of course nothing wants to be eaten but that's the way of life. I personally could never go straight veggies, we were meant to eat meat. But you do you, no disrespect intended
Tbh being a vegan kills more animals than just eating normal, no hate or anything but that’s just a fact
you are eating live plants, the plants also don't want to be eaten like animals, they can feel pain just like everyone else. you are still eating living things, you cant eat nonliving objects because you can only get nutrients from them.
Eat meat
Does plant have their own consent to be eaten or harvested? Afterall, they're also a 'living' being
I’ve never seen a problem with killing and eating animals it’s a natural process however I do have a problem with the way they get killed
