Interesting…private selection Edamame is $4.69 at my Kroger. Guess prices are higher when demand is higher. 😕
It's very easy to make your own vegan mayonnaise. Just substitute the egg for some chickpea aquafaba. (You do need an immersion blender for this) It's a lot cheaper than store bought mayonnaise and probably healthier too.
i love your videos so so much! you're a power mama!
Terrific video and great ideas! Thank you! 😊
Love this concept, checking out your other video right away! I've just cut down my meals to 2 a day, with no snacks, so that I stay within budget.
Some lovely meal ideas and I appreciate the ‘on a budget’ ‘cheap’ sentiment however there doesn’t appear to be anywhere near enough here. Two bananas and 3 apples for a family of 4 – that doesn’t cover your minimum fruit intake nutritionally for a day let alone a week for 4 people!
Getting ready to make the tortillas….I noticed the original recipe has no baking powder….any reason you add it now? Do they stay softer longer?
Some lovely meal ideas, always really inspiring watching you meal prep. 😊
When I make beans I always let the pressure cooker natural release, cleaner way to do it for one but the beans are much more flavourful that way, I've heard it completes the process better doing it this way.
Also I never season them until after they're cooked as adding salt at the start can make them tough and will always make them take longer to cook too.
It was interesting to read below that you went to Perth for a trip recently, my sister lives there, I'm from Adelaide in the hills and I think Adelaide is the cheapest state in Australia, think you'd really enjoy visiting here, more to see and do in Adelaide and a much more affordable place to go, not as hectic as Sydney also, highly recommend! 🤗 🏞️🍲🌳🍁
Thanks for sharing, Faith! Your videos always bring me a lot of comfort in knowing that there are others who make most of their meals from scratch! On some days, I find it hard to come up with ideas and motivation! Thanks for never ending inspiration ❤️
Snacks?? Not everyone is a big snack family, but I feel like my boys never stop eating:) Thanks for the meal ideas!!! I'm definitely trying those pancakes and tortillas!
mushrooms are the best meat substitute! dts/usa
Fantastic video, Faith! Thank you! Always appreciate your videos.
Some great recipes & old favorites. Cheers❤
Always enjoy your videos
Lots of great meal ideas. I really wanted to add some avocado, salsa and fresh cilantro to those tacos, but understand that would be some extra dollars. 🙂
Thanks for sharing Faith. Since the pandemic the prices of food, petrol and electricity have soared here in Spain as in many countries so any tips are helpful xxx
Brilliant. Truly healthy budget meals. So very helpful. Thank you.
love your channel!!!! <3
thank you! great meals
Love your video! The black beans you used was actually a type of soybeans, same as edamame. It is very nutritious, especially the one with green insides. Asians love them.
Love your content as usual, Faith. How much did you spend in RM? And did you get it all at one supermarket, say Village Grocer? Thank you!
Loved this!!! ✨🧡🧡
If you haven't tried it before, dill in your chickpea "tuna" is really good. 🙂
Faith, I’m always so excited and blessed by the videos you post. Thanks for sharing food tips/ideas in a down to earth and encouraging way! Watching this was a highlight of my morning. 😊
Let me know some of your favorite plant-based budget meals!! And don’t forget to subscribe so you don’t miss the next budget video (https://www.youtube.com/c/theconscientiouseater?sub_confirmation=1)
Another winner, Faith! Thanks so much😊 I cannot wait to try those English muffins😮
Love this. Great effort! I always love your videos. I am trying to adhere to serving size to keep my weight in check and save $.
Just love your videos Faith. I watch from New Zealand and we often have some similar brands available. Always great ideas and great budget friendly ideas.
Really love your videos! Had to laugh with the black bean overflow though. I did the same thing.🐱
Love your videos Faith! Always looking forward to all your videos and recipes!
Thank you… So great
I love your hair! I don't like to focus on appearances because what's on the inside is much more important than what's on the outside but I just love your hair it's so pretty 😊 you're a beautiful person inside and out!!
You make English muffins look so easy!! 😅 Might have to try those!
Everything looks so good and your videos always make me hungry 😂 I'm 20 weeks pregnant with baby #3 and now I'm STARVING GIMME ALL THE FOOD 😂😂😂
I appreciate you leaving in the messes that happen because that's real life and I would have done the exact same thing with the pressure cooker 😂
I love your videos
Great video Faith! Thanks for the tip to freeze yeast. And, baking muffins in a skillet is new to me and will definitely be on my list to try!
Nice meal ideas! I spent $60 just for one person but it will last 2 weeks. Also I wonder if you might consider lowering or removing the music, I’d love to just listen and learn from you without the additional music. 😊
Will definitely make that mushroom ramen 😋🍜
The black bean tacos look amazing! I'll try my hand at the tortillas. The peanut noodles are a good budget friendly idea too, so I'm gonna try that with the peanut sauce. My kids will love that. U always have such good ideas. Fyi, I make dried beans in the instant pot weekly, and you don't have to soak them before! I cook on high pressure for about 25-30 minutes depending on the bean. I too have gotten black bean juice all over my walls and cabinets too 😂
That was a great video! Going to try something similar.. thank you
as vegan i eat for 3$ canadian a day (alone 39 male ) and not miss a single nutriment, i even have a video about every nutriment lisent in extrme details
evne like 10 more no one talk or hear about cause they are not often considered , since not essenital but as benifit for ultra hcepa and ethical.
yep every single essential nutriment covered with plants and vegan lifestyle.
I like this formula – breakfst first, than lunches and finally dinners. It is easier to follow than day by day. Good job 🙂
Some great ideas, Faith. I cook my chickpeas on the stove top like you did here and for me, they do take at least 45 minutes. They are the only bean I cook from scratch because I don't like the taste of canned.
Maybe those are black soy beans?
I always get so excited to see your videos upload! Thanks!!
Thanks very much for the inexpensive, healthy meal ideas.
You can barely feed a Family of 4 for $55 a day in Australia right now 😔
