Why there aren't subtitles? I'm italian and I don't understand spoken English very well so it would be useful ❤ I got the fitness word right but really it's not about the fitness word, I don't want to miss Kim's wisdom ❤
"Gives her gyp" 🤣 Haven't heard that since I left the UK 20 years ago, definitely not heard in Australia! Can you do a challenge in Australia next time you're here Kim, then we wee Aussie's can be 'your girls' and watch the lives 💋 Promise not to mention 'fruit' 😏
Really great golden nuggets of info here! Nutrition, Cardio and Strength Training, where Nutrition is the most important, which translates to results! And consistency is key! Making small incremental changes.
You are my favorite, and I was on the same ideas of intermittent fasting until I began following a female Dr. who wrote Fast Like a Girl. There are studies that show if you eat the same amount of food in a window like 11 hours, it can have huge improvements on fat burning and weight loss. Also improving women's hormones. I know you love research, check her out.
As a former herbivore who recently switched to a vegan diet 3 years ago, I can say there is definitely a benefit to health and fitness! I have found my recovery time improved after exercise and I was able to exercise even 10 minutes after eating with no cramps or “side stitches.” Also, meat is more difficult for the body to digest, which means you aren’t getting all the benefits of the calories you intake.
I am sad to hear that Kim is not in favor of intermittent fasting. I have heard and read a lot about it, that it's just just calorie restriction but that there is a fat burning cycle that kicks into gear during a certain number of hours of fasting. I get so confused by what is good to do and what isn't. (sigh)
👍🏼
