The most chronically under-eaten macronutrient is definitely protein. And people often underestimate how much protein they eat.

I survive with a dollar per day
protein is not even the hardest to reach daily intake. that be carbs and fats
I think you are mistaken lbs vs kg unit
Doctors say it's 1 gram per kilo of bodyweight. You say per pound. Which one is it?
then we aslo have eggwhites and greekyogurt…
Per lb of LEAN BODY MASS
that is alot of calories
Lying ass video.
Hey ignorant nutritionists… excessive protein/purine intake is a problem. Didnt matter if it was grassfed, raw/rare, or well cooked protein it leads to high uric acid which can reduce your sleep quality. Spent years and money with insomnia and back pain because of crappy advice. When youre young your kidneys can eliminate it better but be careful. hope i helped someone who was suffering from bad advice like me.
Throw an egg or two in there and you have 200g
don't you count protein that comes from your carbohydrate source?
Throw away my protein powder and order 1kg of cod.
what's your shopping budget?
Answer – YES
How many eggs is that?
I eat 1 KG of chicken breast = 196 G
Bro but chickpeas doesn't have complete protein
He’s wrong. It’s not 1 gram per lb of bodyweight, it’s 0.8 to 1.2 grams per lb of lean body mass. So if you weigh 260 and you’re let’s say 20-30 percent body fat. You shouldn’t just fuckin slam down 260 grams of protein, that person should probably be getting in a little under or over 200 grams. If you’re 160 and lean, guess what? You’re not under 10 percent bf, you’re probably hovering around 13-17 body fat which means you still aren’t gonna be needing 160 grams of protein. You’ll need between like 130 and 145 grams. Excessively eating protein is 1, expensive and 2 really fucking hard. Because protein isn’t super calorie dense and our body doesn’t like using it for energy, slamming down massive amounts of protein can hurt your ability to get a normal amount of calories in and just isn’t great for your overall nutrition, which is going to hurt your ability to grow.
TLDR: he’s repeating standard gym bro lore and is telling people to eat more protein than they should which can hurt their ability to grow muscle.
I'm too broke man
1 shaker cup
35 gram per scoop protein x 2
18 gram per cup milk ( double protein ) x 2
=106 grams protein. 660 calories.
Hey um… Does this apply if ur obese? Cuz I'm 300lbs… so
I ain’t gonna eat a whole pack of bacon 😂 give me some Greek yogurt, steak and ground beef please
At least I dnt weigh that much. Hahah
i think ur suppose to match ur lean body mass. if ur obese ur not expected to 300 grams
Not true. Watch a phD discuss this topic, not this guy with no significant education.
I think its all marketing for whey protein and gym products, because human can't eat that much protein without suplement and I don't believe human body is that stupid
Do not take more than 1 gram per KG unless u do exercises..The amount of protein he mentioned is too much for a normal person
Its actually shown that 1g per pound is normally an overkill . 0.7 g is plenty even for muscle growth.
