I always listen to my body and use common sense like if I had some coconut ice cream already I don't need a second dessert but if I am craving tomatoes or something else healthy then go for it! And I switch up which Whole Foods I am buying. Out of curiosity I estimated how many calories I am eating in a day vs how many I need and I was right on track just doing what I was doing. Your body knows!

Jamaican sweet potatoes are amazing, especially when you bake them with some onions and spinach! Amazing meal that fills you up and is utterly packed with nutrients.
if I don't eat over 2500 cals a day, I steadily lose weight and strength.
I try to push tye calpries without being too full for breakfast and lunch, splitting up linch into two snacks if i have to. and i just eat until I literally can't eat anymore for dinner. I've calculated it and I get roughly 3000 to 4000 cals a day as a 5'7 120 lb female. I exercise usually 1-2 hours a day of cardiovascular and strength training. I do steady state cardio at talking pace. some days I don't train at all.
Just remember to eat standing up.
Thanks everyone for your input and suggestions. Sometimes I think maybe I'm not eating enough. But in the beginning I lost 13 lbs. but gained about 7 back. So t thought I was eating to much.
what kind of pasta do you eat? i eat the regular durum wheat semolina stuff but do you eat a certain type?
also if you are eating a lot of fiber every day like 60-85 gr in my case
those calories are not absorbed ,so i find anything under 2000 would be crazy for me on non exercise days

Hi! i need some advice. I have a bone disease which causes short stature and brittle bones so i am only 4 foot 2. I eat a vegan diet but come from a disordered past with eating. i'm not sure how many calories i should aim for because i am short do i have to eat a lot less? i also workout for at least an hour everyday but i'm kind of lost in the eating department. thank you!
So easy to loose weight eating lots of food on a HCLF diet. Can even feel stuffed even if you decide to cut calories. Get stuffed with loads of high volume low calories density fruit and veg.
do you track you're calories i feel like i need to to make sure I'm getting enough food in.
