130 is hardly fat, please spare me. This is hardly weight loss. You were already skinny. Not exactly inspirational in the slightest.
Lol! You took me back to my economics class with the "macro and micro", lol!
i want to start counting my macros and measuring oils and stuff like that but how do i ensure that i don’t fall back into disordered eating habits? just wanna make sure i’m getting healthy and keep doing it for the right reasons (:
Omg the food looks amazing Alhamdullilah 😍
This is so incredibly balanced, thank you so much!
Love all the content on your videos.
The food looks amazing and I'm planning to try. Please make another video like this because I appreciate your tips. 💔
Your advice is incredible! I’m 1/2 way through my own weight loss journey and couldn’t agree more with literally everything you’ve said! Hope this video reaches the people who need to hear this 🙂
losing it slowly is a zillllllion times more effective for me. I do not feel as if I am constantly starving, I still enjoy my life, and it overall feels more longterm. there isn't this weird quick shock into EXERCISE EXERCISE DONT EAT "X, Y, Z" which makes me feel like life just sucks lol. Thank you for this stellar advice!
Absolutely love your videos and your sense of humor. It's making it easier to try changing my lifestyle. Keep up the great job
I don't think u need to lose weight just like me lol ur pretty way u are
i love this video! i would like to see more especially about what meals you eat to make sure you are getting a balanced diet! but definitely more on this topic PLEASE 🤍
When I heard calories in, calories out, I thought calories out was going to the restroom. And I was like “How do you track that?????” 🤣🤦🏾♀️ Wow. I need a nap. lol Great video btw!
Nope, slight calorie deficit doesn't really work in the long run. In the short run, for people who only need to loose a few pounds, and have a ton of self discipline and already know how to cook and eat healthy, it can work (but even then it often doesn't, for several reasons…) . Studies show that it doesn't work on a bigger or longer scale, even though "eat less move more" is still the advice given most often. Those strategies are too slow and don't address the insulin resistance that has built up in people with high obesity. Low carbohydrate diets and fasting have been much more successful…. But vegan cuisine, even with "medium carb" is a good way to keep the weight.
The 15% off still works 😀 thanks x
I love this human 👍👍👍👍
I love counting calories, it's the ONLY thing that helps me lose some extra pounds because I'm not obese but I did get overweight because I wasn't paying attention. I drank more wine for awhile than I had before and I ate more health-good type snacks that haven't always been available. I didn't see how I could possibly eat better than I was. Counting calories made me see that to eat at a deficit I really needed to be eating moderate portions, not snacking on processed foods and focusing on whole foods meals. I know it's simple to do but I couldn't understand that I really didn't need little extra things (like even hummus on toast, then another, for a snack) without counting my calories!!!
We always wash lentils/pulses/Dal's before cooking. You can check on it
Please do a video using sauerkraut. Apparently it's great nutrition. 😁👍
Long walks are ✨it✨ especially if you have limited stamina for high impact workouts.
Loved this! Great job! 👏🏼 I've been counting my calories in and out as well. It works! Screw cutting carbs 😂 💪🏼
You're just glowing 🌟
Finally someone who is realistic about sustainable weightloss habits.
I subbed because you are funny and your content is informative. I’m incorporating vegan eating during the weekday.
Hello, first of all, i love your content 💞But please consider adding disclaimers about sensitive vocabulary talking about weight loss and calorie counting because there are still some people out there who are struggling with eating disorders. Thank you and sending much love!
Thanks 🌹. I love broccoli 🥦 with garlic 🧄. I try to limit my coffee to 3x a week though
Hey how ru Rose? I'm ordering ur eBook & just wondering if Itll b sent to my email address? I'm very excited 2 get started on this great healthy journey with u🌈🌍🌞🌳🎶
I feel like I just need something to help boost my metabolism. I’m trying to do low carb high fat/ high carb low fat days and switching to hiit instead of focusing on cardio, but wondering if there’s a supplement that will help. I heard my friend used a brand called Vanguard Formulas and made her lose weight pretty fast. Anyone used it before? Anyways, I definitely need to work on my sleep too cause quarantine is kicking my butt. Without work my insomnia creeps back in.
it's Palestine btw
You look gorgeous as always! You have inspired me to get healthy!
You are a beautiful young lady and very smart. thank you for encouragement.
This is very useful, thank you! I'm 15kg overweight (30-ish lbs) and I need to lose weight but also eat enough to sustain myself. I'm going to use these tips.
You lookin' goood gurl…. Seriously though you're right about everything you're saying. I forced myself to do an Okinawan style 80-10-10 diet as a personal experiment for 3 years & it was amazing until I couldn't exercise due to a family emergency which got in the way of my fitness goals. Long story short I got chubby & eventually went into calorie counting, now I follow a CRON vegan diet & I balance my macros around 33-33-33.
Does anyone know what kind of pan she used to make the dinner? It’s looks really nice
The sports bras are adorable! I'm very small chested but these look like they might work for me. Loved the video!
I live in Calgary too, I was so stoked to see that! I’ll have to check out that cafe!!
I started my weight loss journey in June at 160 lb. Couldn't stand anymore how I looked in the mirror and I just felt chubby and didn't have much energy. It wasn't my first attempt at losing weight, but definitely the one that I started in the most negative mindset. I didn't want to do a "diet", I didn't want to eat bland food, I didn't want to not eat pasta and rice. So I tried finding ways how I could have what I wanted and still remain within my calorie goals. Tracking calories was a great tool for me as well – the daily goal is 1400 kcal + what I "earn" with exercise. That was a great motivation to get moving, because I wanted some "buffer calories". Surprisingly I found I could have my carbs and still easily remain within my 1400 calorie goal by reducing the amount of carbs (like 70-80 g instead of 100 or even 150) and upping the amount of veggies and protein, so it really felt satiating and balanced. If I use additional activity calories, I still usually don't eat more than half of my activity calories. (tracking these with a tracker or smart watch is very helpful!) 6 months later, I am now at 136 lbs and down 2 sizes, and it didn't feel like that much of an effort! Btw, weighing daily helped me to see the usual fluctuations over 1 oder 2 weeks. I was even able to see on the scales how my body retained water when I didn't drink enough – after a day of drinking normally again, the scales usually show 1-3 lbs less the next day. Loved your video and I had to smile about the fact we lost our weight in a similar time frame 😀
This video is kinda triggering and toxic
I am happy that calorie counting is working for you, but it has been detrimental to my mental health in my case. It's been 8 years and I am still recovering from the torment of eating disorder, depression and body dysmorphia. It is definitely great for people to be health conscious, but it would be considerate to add a trigger warning somewhere in your video or even in your title just for all those who have suffered and are continuing to suffer from eating disorder and related issues.
Great video! Such a great approach on health and fitness. You need to enjoy life and food for it to stick long term, feeling very inspired.
No oil fighting heart disease 🤓
… literally the first couple tips are the exact habits I had to UNLEARN in Anorexia recovery….
🖤 This is good healthy content.
I love this! I gained quarantine weight and am looking to lose a few pounds, but I was having trouble finding vegan weight loss videos that didn't consist of not eating or just plain smoothies.
holy shit! when she just casually dropped that "don't let perfect be the enemy of good" I literally had to pause the video to let that sink in because my brain was like hold up hold up holp up
