I also like couple vs couple challenges, you could tweak it to fit your fam. For example Romeo and Jerusalem vs Mom and Cleopatra. Then ask questions like what's so and sos fav food/book/instrument or how old was so and so when they lost their first tooth. And see if their answers match, if they do, that team gets a point.
I love seeing "who knows me best" challenges. For example who knows Jerusalem best: Romeo or Mom, then Jerusalem writes down the answers to a bunch of Q's and then asks them and mom+Romeo write their answers on a white board. (Or any combination of people, might be fun with the littles too)

To funny I love it !!! When my girl's were little I would do green eggs and ham and read them the book. I don't think they had applesauce and didn't color it. As they got bigger we would do different cultures we did this once or twice a month there was 1 adult and 2 kiddos to get the stuff and make it and tell us what food type and we're dose it come from. Your kid's are so smart they would do amazing.
