VEGANS GET ENOUGH PROTEIN! They just don't get enough B12. And our ancient ancestors would have died as vegetarians because of the lack of B12. It takes a while for B12 to show up LACKING in a test but it is SERIOUS when it does. And it always does unless vegans take B12 supplements. Eating nutritional yeast does not contain sufficient amounts. Plus, it has other problems. Personally, I don't like the thought of taking supplements… so I don't… and have not since I was a child. I'm now a 72-year-old physician in top physical shape. I'm not a vegan and never will be. It's not normal. Put all vegans back in history and they would all die for lack of B12.
